How do you sleep on your hair?

Hi no-poo community. I've been no-poo for a year and a half, and water only for almost two months. With the help of this site, I've manage to formulate a routine to keep my long, fine, wavy hair decent looking with hard water. However, I can't seem to find a good way to put my hair up for bed. My second day hair is always flat and significantly greasier than I would like, no matter what I try. I've experimented with sock buns, braids (which only left my ends frizzy), satin caps, and letting my hair free. In the morning, I brush with my BBB and try to spritz my hair with water to coax back some wave, but it doesn't really seem to help.
My routine: I wash with water only about every three days, and rinse with lemon juice and water.
Please help! I'm not really a fan of the flat and lifeless look :(
