I've just completed 8 weeks of no 'poo, the vast majority of it water only. I can't say there's a huge improvement as far as the transition period is concerned. I'm forcing two days between water washes, and on wash day, the hair looks alright for a few hours and is completely flat and lackluster by evening. On the first day post-wo-wash, I need to put the hair into a head band; otherwise, I'd be completely embarrassed by streaks of flat hair, and the second day, my hair looks really greasy, flat and dirty (headband and ponytail day).
Not much of an improvement week-over-week, and I'm starting to lose faith. My husband, so far, has been supportive, although I can see him shaking his head sometimes over the way my hair looks, especially when we go out. I'm BBBing my brains out twice a day, and my hair feels nice and soft. It just looks like shit, is all.
Any encouragement to stick with this is much appreciated.
